As a sleep apnea specialist near Spring, Dr. Dernick cares about helping patients breathe easier and sleep better. Interested in the field of dentistry from an early age, he went on to receive early acceptance to the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, graduating in 1979 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Opening his first practice in The Woodlands in 1980, he is considered one of the most caring, experienced, and skilled dental professionals in the area. With a stellar educational background, he continues to learn and hone his skills so that he can provide exceptional general and cosmetic dentistry. However, his interests expand far beyond his ability to repair and enhance patients’ teeth and gums. This is why we chose to study sleep dentistry.
Striving to help individuals who are struggling to get a good night’s rest, he is well-versed in treating sleep apnea and other sleep disordered breathing problems. As a result, he can provide safe, effective, and non-invasive sleep apnea treatment near Spring. When he’s not in the office helping others prepare for a good night’s rest, you will find him spending time with his wife Chris, and their three children, volunteering with his church and the general community, and even enjoying a game of golf.
Dr Dernick has been our dentist for more than 20 years. He is a very competent doctor has great manners and most importantly is very honest! We moved from The Woodlands but we still drive more than an hour to go see him. His hygienists and his staff are great as well!
